Cleaning up

While most people go through their lives never opening their computers, I have the habit of opening almost everything electronic. I can't explain but I love taking things apart just to see what makes it tick. A few days back I began to stare at my desktop computer with an angered look. Why? Because It froze on me whenever I booted it up after 5 minutes. So I reached out to my handy "open up that sucker" tool box I bought from at Amazon.com. Pretty nifty Japanese tools that even come with the dreaded "Star and triangular-shaped" screws.

Once the armor plating was crushed, I proceeded to disable play around with the power cells, being careful as to not set off a nuclear reaction. There was so much toxic waste inside it was hard NOT to breathe in the horrible toxins. I grabbed my handy Waste dispenser and immediately began to man-handle my foe. Slowly but surely it began to succumb to my mighty skills. The spinning fan needed an upgrade and so I installed a cooler master and began to show signs of life shortly after. This battle seemed pretty one-sided.

Don't worry. I don't throw away parts that easily. I cleaned the old fan with the cleaning tool everyone pretty much else uses...a Q-tip. Once that was done I put the armor plating back on and revved that bad boy up.

It purrs like a kitten now with the newly installed parts. The screen did not freeze so I called it a successful battle. Level up!
